Train Cemetery: what you need to know

Three kilometres out of Uyuni lie the locomotives that once linked the mines of Potosí to the Pacific. It is the first stop on our full-day tours and one of the most photographed places in southern Bolivia.

We suggest going early, before the big groups arrive. Our driver-guide tells the story of the railway and of Uyuni station, a few blocks from BlueMoon Café Restobar.
