Incahuasi Island

Incahuasi Island: what you need to know
Incahuasi is an ancient reef rising out of the middle of the salt flats. Its columnar cacti stand over ten metres tall and some are more than a thousand years old. The trail to the top opens up a full panorama of the white and the volcanoes around it.
Access depends on the state of the salt flats: in the rainy season the water can make it unreachable, which is why tour BM-02 includes it 'whenever conditions allow' and we offer alternatives on the same trip.
